The NGO's very popular team flush clay shoot at Owls Lodge Shooting Ground in Hampshire is being held on Thursday 23rd May 2019.
For the fourth year running, Olympic double-trap gold medallist Richard Faulds MBE is generously hosting the National Gamekeepers’ Organisation’s very popular team flush clay shoot at Owls Lodge Shooting Ground in Hampshire on Thursday 23rd May 2019.
This fun-day event, complete with fabulous team prizes is one of the most popular events in the NGO calendar and aims to raise funds to support the important work of the organisation.
With teams entering from all over the UK, the day offers stiff competition and much fun as old and new friends compete against each other. During the day teams shoot over six stands of varying flush styles from testing grouse and decoyed pigeons to teal and duck drives as well as high partridges. Each stand is guaranteed to offer something different to test all the teams’ strengths and abilities.
Each stand has a prize for the top scoring team as well as a first, second and third prize.
Tim Weston, the NGO’s Development Officer (South) said, “This hugely successful event has now become a staple in the NGO’s events calendar. Its success can be attributed to the brilliant layout organised by Owls Lodge Shooting School as well as the fantastic prizes offered by our sponsors. Everyone always has a really great day and of course with an Olympic champion in attendance, the shooting is always good.”
Food and refreshments will be available on the day, which costs £350 per team. Pre-booking is essential.
