Northumberland, Durham and Yorkshire Team Clay Shoot- Results

On Sauturday 7th June the NGO held the Northumberland, Durham and Yorkshire clay shoot at Middle End farm on the Raby Estate, kindly hosted by Lord Barnard.

Andrew Dent (NGO regional chairman), Norman Ornsby and Len Turnbull organised a good variety of sporting flushes. There were 6 stands, all of very different targets as well as a challenging pool shoot.

It was the usual story with the weather, heavy rain set in early and continued throughout the day, however that didn't discourage the 39 teams competing.

A team local to the Allen Valleys, Headaches Heroes came out on top, the team consisting of two winners from the Golden Grouse which took place on the Wednesday before. They shot extremely well under challenging conditions.
