NGO Website Wins Award

Last night, the National Gamekeepers' Organisation (NGO), won the IPC media award for best website. It was the most nominated category and the NGO was up against some seriously stiff competition.

IPC, which publishes most of the shooting and cpountryside magazines, said the NGO website was awarded first place because it was clear, easy to use, offered users what they needed, had quality content and told people exactly what they were looking at.

Liam Bell (pictured), NGO Regional Chairman for Shropshire, Hereford, Worcestershire and the West Midlands, collected the award on behalf of the organisation.

"This is a great accolade and a tribute to all who put in the hard hours creating our new website and keeping it up to date," Liam said.

The NGO's new website was launched during 2012 after being completely redesigned and built by Eskdale Solutions. Visitors to the site have quadrupled since it was launched.
