NGO sponsors the Welsh Youth fly fishing team

The NGO are delighted to be sponsoring a member of the Welsh Youth fly fishing team, as they compete at the International Youth Fly Fishing Championship at Lough Lene in Ireland.

Elis Wyn Jones was chosen by their team manager as our sponsored team member, and the team, aged between 14-18, have been fishing against teams from Ireland, Scotland and England. The competition takes place across five days, and the team have been practising hard through the year.

The team members live throughout Wales and get to meet up several times a year. Most of them are keen reservoir fly anglers whilst some also spend some time on the rivers too.

The NGO is delighted to be able to sponsor a member of the team, and wish them – and Elis – the best of luck this week!
