The NGO wishes to send its very best congratulations to Sir Gareth Edwards CBE on having been knighted in the Queen"s Birthday Honours list.
The National Gamekeepers’ Organisation wishes to send its very best congratulations to Sir Gareth Edwards CBE on having been knighted in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to sport and for charitable services.
Sir Gareth is an NGO Patron who has worked tirelessly on the NGO’s behalf in recent years in making the case for the important role gamekeepers and gamekeeeping play in the countryside. There is no doubt that Sir Gareth is a true champion of keepering.
Lindsay Waddell, the Chairman of the National Gamekeepers’ Organisation, said: “Sir Gareth is a great friend of the NGO and our National Committee is delighted that he has been honoured in this way and we send him our most sincere congratulations. It is wonderful news and very well deserved indeed.”
