New NGO deal with Ford doubles the discount available on both the All New Ford Ranger and the Ford Focus.

The National Gamekeepers' Organisation has struck a new deal with Ford that doubles the discount already available to NGO members (and their employers) on the purchase of the All New Ford Ranger. The double-discount scheme has been extended to include selected vehicles in the Ford Focus range. The NGO has opted to waive its commission in the deal with Ford - helping to pass onto gamekeepers savings potentially worth thousands of pounds in cash in the process.

NGO members (or their employers) who wish to take advantage of the huge savings should visit a local Ford dealer and present both the NGO's unique Fleet Identification Number and their NGO membership card. For more details and to obtain the Fleet Identification Number, please contact Ann Robinson-Ruddock at the NGO National Office on 01833 660869 or info@nationalgamekeepers.org.uk

Ford has generously supported the work of the NGO since 1999 by providing an All New Ford Ranger free-of-charge for the NGO's use both at shows and in promoting gamekeeping across England and Wales. Ford will kindly continue to supply the NGO with an All New Ford Ranger during 2014.

Lindsay Waddell, the Chairman of the National Gamekeepers' Organisation, said: "I'd like to commend our new deal with Ford to our members. The NGO has decided to pass on its entire commission on the sale of the vehicles to its membership. So the cash savings, both on the excellent All New Ford Ranger and also on the Ford Focus, an ideal car for the off-duty keeper and family, are worth thousands of pounds. Ford is backing gamekeeping, let's do our bit to get behind them."

Mark Easton, Ford's ,Product Marketing Manager for Ranger in the UK, said: ,"I am very pleased that Ford can offer the full Ranger model line-up at such great value to NGO members. ,Ford's ,rugged off-roader - the Ranger won ,the 2013 International Pick-Up Award - ,is offered in three versatile cab body styles: Double, Super and ,Regular. It has class-leading interior space, comes ,with a choice of ,three ,powerful and economical Duratorq TDCi diesel engines, and with either two or four wheel drive. The Ranger boasts class-leading towing capability and is the first such vehicle ever to achieve a Euro NCAP five-star rating. It's the perfect vehicle to help keepers get the job done."

Mr Easton added: ,"Demand for high series Rangers like the Wildtrak and Limited has continued to exceed our expectations from the launch onwards and we know that many customers have had long waiting times before taking delivery. We thank them for their patience and are pleased to advise that our manufacturing plant has now ramped up volumes of these models to meet demand. The estimated order to delivery lead-times will progressively come down as we go through the first half of this year. And with the Double Cab Limited 3.2 6spd Auto becoming available in the second half, there'll be even greater choice at the top end of the range."
