David Wiggins, Deer Branch Chairman of the National Gamekeepers' Organisation said: "I’d like to thank Browning, the NGO Deer Branch Rifle Partner, for putting together a great – and exclusive – deal for NGO members. There’s no doubt in my mind that the Browning X-Bolt and Winchester Ballistic Silvertip ammunition make a fantastic combination.”

The NGO is an Approved DMQ (Deer Management Qualifications) Assessment Centre and offers a complete package of in-house deer management training to DSC1 and DSC2 standards for both NGO members and non-members alike.

The Deer Branch of the National Gamekeepers' Organisation, which aims to help improve deer welfare and management in the British countryside, was set up in 2009 in recognition of the number of NGO members involved in deer conservation and culling. The NGO Deer Branch is now thought to have more members actively involved in deer management in the UK than any other organisation. It is a special interest group within the NGO membership, so any NGO member interested in deer can ask to join the NGO Deer Branch at no extra cost. Within its remit, the NGO Deer Branch advises the NGO National Committee on deer-related issues. The Deer Branch also runs its own courses on Dogs for Deer and Game Meat Hygiene.

The National Gamekeepers' Organisation represents the gamekeepers of England and Wales. It defends and promotes gamekeeping, gamekeepers and ensures high standards throughout the profession. It was founded in 1997 by a group of gamekeepers who felt that their profession was threatened by public misunderstanding and poor representation. The NGO has around 15,000 members. www.nationalgamekeepers.org.uk
