The National Gamekeepers' Organisation/JCB Team Flush clayshoot will be held at the E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire on Thursday 20 March 2014. It's the shoot "everyone's talking about". The funds raised will go to promoting and defending gamekeeping in England and Wales.

JCB, a sponsor of the National Gamekeepers' Organisation (NGO), has kindly agreed to support the event for the third year running.

The NGO/JCB Team Flush is open to teams of four (or three) shooters, and the 600-bird simulated-game team flush will be shot over seven stands including grouse, high pheasant, vermin and duck with prizes for the three highest-scoring teams overall. There'll also be a pool shoot.

And new for this year: all members of the team posting the top score on each flurry will win prizes, generously provided by the likes of Rivers West, Ford, Bright Seeds, JCB, The Wiltshire Liquer Company, Hunter, Kings Seeds, Sportsman Game Feeds, Stoneacre Motor Group, Keepers Choice, St David's Game Bird Services and Browning.

The 600-bird event on 20 March 2014 is open to both NGO members and non-members. Shooting starts at 9am. Pre-entry is recommended (entries can be taken on the day, subject to space). The cost is 300 per team, with re-entry available on the day.

To book in your team for 20 March 2014 please call the NGO National Office on 01833 660869 or visit www.nationalgamekeepers.org.uk. For more information contact NGO Development Officer Tim Weston on 01672 811678.

Gary Salmon, the NGO's Northamptonshire Regional Chairman, who is organising the shoot, said: "This is an important fundraiser for the work of the NGO. It's also a great day out, and a lot of work has gone into ensuring the stands and prizes are better than ever. So, do make every effort to put a team together and come along. It's the shoot everyone's talking about."

He added: "I'd like to thank JCB for its sponsorship and E. J. Churchill for its invaluable assistance as well as all the other sponsors for their kind support. See you there."

Richard Foxley, Marketing Manager for JCB Agriculture, said: "We are delighted to sponsor this important fundraising clay shoot for the NGO. Gamekeepers are at the cutting edge of conservation in the British countryside. It is good to know that our vehicles are helping keepers to nurture the nation's wildlife. Gamekeepers are the major influencers in estates' purchasing decisions, and UK estates management is one of the major markets for the JCB Workmax UTV."

Rob Fenwick, Managing Director at E. J. Churchill, said: "We are delighted ,that ,E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground is hosting the NGO/JCB Team Flush for the third year ,running. ,We are anticipating another super day with a course designed to test all standards of shooting. We are proud, long-standing supporters and the funds raised during this event are vital in supporting the important work of the National Gamekeepers' Organisation, a bedrock of the shooting field. What could be better than that?!" , ,
