The National Gamekeepers’ Organisation looks forward to welcoming both members and non-members to its stand at the 2017 Game Fair, which is to be held at the stunning Hatfield House in Hertfordshire on 28-30 July.
The NGO will be situated in the Gamekeepers’ Pavilion (stand number 1436) and will offer the ideal opportunity for visitors to escape the madding crowds and enjoy a freetea or coffee with friends.
Speaking about the fair, NGO Chairman Liam Bell said: ‘The team are looking forward to meeting with members and show visitors and talking about the NGO’s essential work on behalf of gamekeepers, discussing its plans for the future and listening to feedback.’
NGO Development Officer (South) Tim Weston added: ‘We are absolutely delighted to be launching our SummerPrize Draw at the Game Fair which features a star prize of a Polaris Outlaw 50 Junior quad bike, which is designed for children aged 6 plus, so is ideal for budding gamekeepers! This amazing prize will be displayed on the stand, with tickets on sale for just £1, great value given the recommended retail price of £1,999.’
Tickets will also be available from the NGO website, and from the NGO stand at BBC Countryfile Live, which is on 3-6 August at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. The draw will be held on the NGO stand at Blenheim at 2pm on Sunday, 6 August. Terms and conditions will be available on the NGO website.
He added: ‘We are also pleased to be welcoming the CIC UK Trophy Evaluation Board team to the stand who are looking forward to evaluating people’s trophies and answering any questions they may have about the CIC’s internationally recognised system of measurement.’
NGO Development Officer (North) Sarah Read said: ‘We will importantly be sharing information on code compliant fox snares and on the new traps which will be replacing the Fenn trap, so there will be lots to talk about.’
