Gamekeepers in full tweeds, and other National Gamekeepers' Organisation (NGO) members, will meet in Bedfordshire on Friday 7 April 2017 for the annual Golden Pheasant sporting clay shoot, the winner of which will have the chance to host the event in 2018.
Speaking about the event, Tim Weston, NGO Development Officer, said: "This annual event is a favourite with our keepers and at £45 a head represents amazing value, as the price includes 100 clays, cartridges and lunch. This is thanks to the support of our three sponsors, MKM Agriculture, Kings and Heygates, who will all be at the event."
The shoot, to be held at Sporting Targets, Riseley, on 7 April 2017, is open to all NGO members, and includes classes for gamekeepers, veterans, ladies, under 21s and side-by-sides. Prior booking is via the NGO website or by calling the NGO office on 01833 660869.
