The NGO will have a large stand at this year's Midland Game Fair...

The National Gamekeepers' Organisation (NGO) stand at the Midland Game &, Country Fair, Weston Park, Shropshire on 15-16 September 2012 is a must for anyone with an involvement or interest in the world of gamekeeping. Do drop by and see us.

The NGO stand will showcase all the latest and the best in advice, expertise and products for both the professional and the DIY gamekeeper on topics ranging from gamebird health to gamecrop agronomy and from firearm advice to deer management.

It's also the perfect place to place your bid in the NGO Sporting Auction and to catch-up with what's going on in the gamekeeping profession over a cup of tea.

Among the attractions on the National Gamekeepers' Organisation stand are:

- A chance to talk to technical staff from NGO sponsor JCB, see the fantastic JCB Workmax range up close and find out about the free five year/1000 hours JCB PremierCover package exclusive to NGO members. And why not buy a 2 JCB/NGO prize draw ticket for a chance to win your own JCB Workmax 800D UTV...

- View the new Mk5 Ford Ranger, a great features-packed truck for keepers. Ask NGO sponsor Ford for a quote in its preferential pricing package, a deal that's exclusive to NGO members.

- Get advice from the experts. Talk to: Sportsman Game Feeds, Kings Game and Conservation Crops, Limagrain and meet Steve Snape of Bright Seeds to discuss gamefeed additives.

- Look out for the display of C.A. Watson high seats - and perhaps win one of your own in the NGO Deer Branch prize draw (tickets cost 1).

- Visitors to the stand can place a bid in the NGO 2012 Sporting Auction. The 24-page catalogue of auction lots is jam-packed with all manner of unique and exciting sporting opportunities. All proceeds go the NGO.

- The presentation of the Frank Jenkins Memorial Trophy on behalf of the NGO National Committee to the best gamekeeping student or apprentice at college. This annual award is open to all full- or part-time gamekeeping trainees and modern apprentices. (The trophy commemorates the late Frank Jenkins, a gamekeeper with 63 years' experience in keepering and gamefarming.) The winner also receives a wardrobe of Musto shooting clothing, kindly donated by Musto, sponsors of the memorial trophy.

- The NGO team will be on-hand to help with any inquiry and will include George Wallace, the NGO Firearms Advisor, and David Jones, the NGO gamekeeping historian. Also present will be Helen Benson of the Gamekeepers' Welfare Trust and Brian Hayes from the NGO Educational Trust.

Tim Weston, the NGO's Development Officer, said: "The NGO stand at the Midland Game and Country Fair has something to offer everyone in the world of gamekeeping, whatever their specialist area of interest. Visitors to the stand will also be able to place bids in the NGO 2012 Sporting Auction for some of the best shooting and fishing that's available in these islands. We look forward to seeing you there."
