NGO Fighting Fund - Keeping Wildlife Licensing Fair

The National Gamekeepers' Organisation has launched the "NGO Fighting Fund - Keeping Wildlife Licensing Fair" in response to offers of financial support from within the shooting world for the forthcoming historic legal challenge to Natural England's decision not to grant a buzzard control licence to one of its members. The NGO has pledged to pick up the considerable cost of bringing the case to court so as to clarify the law for all and to give the self-employed gamekeeper from Northumberland access to justice. The Judicial Review will be heard at the High Court in 2015.

Lindsay Waddell, the Chairman of the National Gamekeepers' Organisation, said: "The cost to the NGO of covering the legal fees of our member, who is taking Natural England to court, will be very high indeed. Please get behind the NGO Fighting Fund - Keeping Wildlife Licensing Fair. You can show your support for this landmark legal battle that centres on fairness for all by making a donation to the fund.
