The UK Government’s COVID-19 recovery strategy, as published on 11 May 2020, can be found here
Please find below the latest information taken from the UK Government's COVID-19 recovery strategy.
It states that in England (only) from Wednesday 13 May, people will be able to spend time outdoors, rather than just ‘exercising’, subject to: not meeting up with any more than one person from outside their household; continued compliance with social distancing guidelines to remain two metres (6ft) away from people outside their household; and, following good hand hygiene practices, particularly with respect to shared surfaces.
People may also now drive to outdoor open spaces irrespective of distance.
This implies, that providing the above requirements are met, from this Wednesday 13 May and not before, people can carry out pest and predator control, deer stalking and other such activities in England, whether as part of their job or for recreation.
The rules elsewhere in the UK remain more restrictive, allowing such things for work but not for recreation. Please read the full guidance here.
