A survey, undertaken by the National Gamekeepers' Organisation, BASC, Countryside Alliance and the Game Farmers Association has revealed the shocking statistic that almost two-thirds of gamekeepers across the UK have received abuse and threats as a direct result of their profession.

With over 1,000 responses, the survey undertaken at the end of 2020, produces a snapshot of the national picture.

This report highlights the huge amount of pressure and intimidation that many gamekeepers experience. The NGO is taking the results of this report seriously and will consider the implications for future work and campaigns.
