The gamekeeping area of the British Shooting Show is set to expand in 2017.

The gamekeeping area of the British Shooting Show is set to expand in 2017. The National Gamekeepers' Organisation (NGO), which represents gamekeepers in England and Wales, has agreed to sponsor the Gamekeeping Hall at the show along with the British Shooting Show’s media partner Countryman’s Weekly.

The new look, larger Gamekeeping Hall will allow visitors to see and buy the latest keepering equipment as well as to meet leading experts in game management to take advantage of up-to-the-minute information and advice.

John Allison, owner of the British Shooting Show said: “I have talked with many show visitors as well as traders in the industry about aspects of gamekeeping and the importance of educating the public. This is something that the British Shooting Show is in a position to facilitate. It’s somewhere anyone with an interest in gamekeeping can come along to meet with others who share the same interest and gain more knowledge by speaking with experts from the industry.”

Tim Weston, the NGO’s Southern Development Officer, said: “The NGO is delighted to be helping to sponsor the Gamekeeping Hall at the British Shooting Show next February.”
